Return Authorization Procedures:

1.

To get an RMA Number, you must either call Customer Service, or Fax in a Return Authorization Request Form (a copy can be faxed to you or downloaded through the link below). Please do not contact your salesperson regarding returns as this may cause delays or errors in processing your request.

  Please provide the following information:

  • Your Company's Name
  • SED International Customer Number
  • Product/Manufacturer/Model
  • Specific Explanation of the Problem
  • SED Invoice Number and Date
  • Serial Number

Returns on defective merchandise are for replacement or credit. Credit will be issued at purchase price or market value at time of return receipt, whichever is lower. If the product is unavailable, you will be issued credit. Credit cannot be deducted from an SED International invoice until the credit memo is applied to your account. THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS. Credit memos are issued against future purchases on returns meeting our requirements.

Ship the defective equipment and all accessories prepaid to SED International. RA's will remain open for 20 days from date of issuance. Equipment must be returned in the original box (Please do not write on box). Returns can be sent to the following locations:

RA's are valid only for 20 days. The RA number must be prominently displayed on the shipping label of all boxes containing returned merchandise. Returned merchandise must be shipped prepaid in the original boxes with the original packing materials. All manuals, cables and other accessories originally shipped must be included;or item will be refused.

Any merchandise received "Dead on Arrival" must be reported within 30 days of the invoice/order date. Any merchandise received without an RA number will be refused. RA's over $1,000 in value or that were shipped from a warehouse location OTHER THAN THOSE LISTED ABOVE may require extra processing time.

SED International makes no express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We make no warranty for any application of a product or its compatibility to another product. Please consult the manufacturer regarding compatibility or fitness for a particular use. Furthermore, SED International is not responsible for your customers' acceptance or approval of a product.
