 Biography
Derek Johnson, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Johnson joined SED in November 2011 as CIO. He came to SED with over 20 years of information systems management experience in the military, food and beverage, human, and animal health industries. His information systems management career started in 1991 with the United States Navy submarine force as a communications and electronics engineer. Mr. Johnson began his private sector career as a field engineer and lead architect. He has held various senior management positions within Syncor International, The Coca Cola Company, and Merial Limited a division of Sanofi and holds a BS degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland. Derek is originally from Chicago and is a married father of two daughters.
